AI place search app using Next.js, FoursquareAPI, SerpApi, and gpt-oss-120b that unified comprehensive place metadata to power intelligent ranking and routing. This project earned me a top 20 finish in the hackathon.
Ranked Top 25 among 5,650 participants in the ICEA TruthTell Hackathon supported by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, MeitY, and IndiaAI Mission. I designed a multimodal, multilingual misinformation-detection platform.
Top 18 finish out of 7,000 participants in Shell Hackathon 2025. I developed a hybrid ensemble approach that blended multi-output and per-target stacking models to exploit target correlations while capturing per-target nuances.
Web app for self-reflection that enables users to securely record, track, and analyze personal growth.

I'm Abhinav Verma, a third-year Computer Science student at VIT who loves building web applications and experimenting with AI/ML. I work with Python, JavaScript, and frameworks like Next.js, React, and Flask to create solutions that solve real problems.
I've competed in several national hackathons and placed in the top ranks, which has taught me how to think quickly and build under pressure. But coding is just one part of my life. I'm equally passionate about staying active at the gym, watching movies and anime, and learning Japanese (I'm preparing for the JLPT N5 exam in December). I also play basketball, which keeps me grounded and reminds me that the best work happens through collaboration.
My technical interests lie in web development and AI/ML—I like working on projects that combine clean user interfaces with intelligent backend systems. Whether I'm optimizing API performance or training machine learning models, I'm always looking for ways to make technology more efficient and accessible.
I'm looking for opportunities where I can grow as a developer, work on meaningful projects, and continue learning new technologies.
